ABOUT successor of the MPC2000XL, first without Delay (but now part of the update..) , has USB to exchange sounds to the computer (and back), BK Version with HD.
ABOUT der Nachfolger der MPC2000XL , zunächst ohne Delay (!), durch update zum Glück beheben.. mit USB zum direkten Austausch mit dem Rechner (!!), BK version mit Festplatte.

SOUND dynamische sample beats.. guter realtime sequencer aber etwas starr für live mittlerweile.. auch wenn viele die mpc gern nutzen.

there's another interesting alternative, the JJOs which replaces the Akai OS and offers grid edits and better / smarter selection and adjustment of parameters in a track.
both the MPC1000 and MPC2500 work with JJOS and are comparable.

Kaum einer kenn nicht die berühmte S-Serie Sampler des chinesischen Herstellers mit weissem Rack-Gehäuse, sie waren der Verkaufsschlager der 80er und in wirklich jedem Studio zu finden, wirklich innovativ waren sie aber eher mit der MPC und einigen Synthesizern (AX und VX Serie und speziell dem VX600), jedoch hatten sie beim Verkauf der Synthesizer nicht so viel Erfolg. Gegründed von Masukichi Akai.
