ABOUT Akais very last real Samplers, everything after them was software or part of a synth/workstation that is also able to play samples. so the historical year is 2005: the last sampler with USB, 96Khz and 512MB Ram max (Z8).
ABOUT Akais letzte Samplerserie markiert auch das Ende der reinen Hardware-Sampler mit Multisampling. Die Zukunft gehörte danach der Software und Groovemaschinen mit Sampling oder Synths/Workstations, die auch Samplen können. Sie waren damit auch die letzten Anbieter eines reinen Samplers bis 2005.

Kaum einer kenn nicht die berühmte S-Serie Sampler des chinesischen Herstellers mit weissem Rack-Gehäuse, sie waren der Verkaufsschlager der 80er und in wirklich jedem Studio zu finden, wirklich innovativ waren sie aber eher mit der MPC und einigen Synthesizern (AX und VX Serie und speziell dem VX600), jedoch hatten sie beim Verkauf der Synthesizer nicht so viel Erfolg. Gegründed von Masukichi Akai.
