the polyphonic series (PS) wasn't exactly a polyphonic MS20 but it had a resonator and one VCO. the polyphony was archieved by frequency dividers and 12 Master VCOs. semimodular, so the signal flow is not open to everything but mod sources and destinations can be patched, of course.
Die polyphone Serie (PS) von Korg war nicht einfach ein polyphoner MS20, er hatte 2 LFOs und hatte einen Resonator, dennoch erinnern die Filter schon etwas an die MS-Serie. semimodular! also kein umpatchen der klangmodule im signalweg, aber modulationsquellen können frei verpatcht werden.
nice fast LFO (2 lfos are available), one with sine wave only, the polyphony is created by 12 tunable frequency divided Oszillators (12 pots set the drequency, so it has microtuning), sample and hold, 3 Resonators (100hz-10khz). sure, this is the most interesting part ,the ps3200 has a resonator instead.
Hardware: like in the older MS20 (one korg35) there are 48 Korg35 chips inside (Filters), and of course there are 48 VCAsm 48 ENVs..
sehr schnelle LFO (es gibt 2, wovon einer einfach nur Sinus bringt), es gibt drei Resonatoren (100hz-10khz), die sogar modulierbar sind. sample + hold schaltung. Kurz: Der wohl aufwendigste polyphone Synthesizer seiner Zeit. Tonerzeugung durch Frequenzteilerschaltung mittels 12 extra stimmbaren Potis for eine Oktave (Microtuning)!
Die Materialschlacht für den PS3100: 48x Korg35 Chips (wie in den älteren MS20) bilden 48 VCFs, 48 VCAs und 48 ENVs.

polyphonic pads and sweeps, not "fat" but typical korg kind of sound , resonator makes it even more interesting..
polyphone Flächen im MS Sound, nicht fett ,aber sehr speziell und interessant durch den Resonator kann man schöne "Schwurbelklänge" bauen.
