MELLOTRON alias Norlin - Novatron formerly/alternatively called Chamberlin
Need I say much about Harry Chamberlin and his Tape based "Sampler" which was a bit on vogue as sort of a home keyboard predecessor in all good british households. lots of names and brands but originally unter Mellotron - and lots of versions and revisions made.
Ein wirklich spezielles Instrument und auch nur eins wurde unter verschiedenen Namen (rechtliche Gründe) gebaut. Herry Chamberlin hat in den 1950ern bereits das erste Gerät auf Bandrahmen-Basis gebaut und stand später eine Zeit lang in jedem englischen Edelhaushalt, während in Deutschland eher eine Hammondkopie stand.
