Roland rediscovered the Jupiter needs to be re-invented on DSP basis. this one sounds a bit more plastic (not bad, more plastic!) it was the first synth with supersaw, a number of 7 detuned sawtooth waveforms. the 8 voice jp8000 is very well known for its super saw sounds often used on trance tracks. the same can be heard from the vsynth (V2.0 or higher), it's simple multiple saw waves slightly or not so slightly detuned on one OSC the jp is completely CC controlled and can even freely be set to other CCs, so this is a deluxe CC box, too it has 2 VCOs , plus some special waves like feedback osc and supersaw (same can be found in the vsynth, as said) the jp8080 adds 2 voices and a vocoder..

Reset it: HOLD SHIFT, PRESS INIT/BULK. PRESS BUTTON 7, USE UP/DOWN (SELECT FACTORY RESET), PRESS WRITE TO SELECT FACTORY PRESETS
