ABOUT French Synthesizers since 1970 by Ruben & Serge Fernandez - big poly synth - polykobol: rare 1979 - 8voice, only 30 have been made, one year later much more memory was added to the polykobol from the II model. Some Versions with 4 and 6 Voices..

the Polykobol II has a built in Cassette Recorder, adds Chord Memory, more Buttons for Sequencing and Poly Pressure (most of that is been said never worked well. 32x memory isn't that much and 8 splits isn't but well, the Jupiter 6's memory wasn't big as well.

DETAILS der polykobol ist superselten, es gibt nur 30, 8track sequencer und nicht unaufwenig mit prozessoren bestückt: 3x6809 .. s+h sektion, unison und split mode
Polykobol 2 kam ab 1982 mit mehr Tastern und besserer Optik, chord Memory. Sequencer und Pressure funktionierten offenbar nie wirklich richtig oder gar nicht. 32 Soundspeicher sollte man nicht unbedingt üppig nennen aber für die Zeit normal.
