VST - Virtual Studio - Interface in Software domain by Steinberg.

allows PlugIns to be used as another Helper Program to be "Plugged into" a Host Software via all Hosts, capable of the VST Standard.

at VST Version is 3.0 introduced by Steinberg Cubase 4.0
