| Cwejman S1? the swedish better MS20? no.. it’s different.. VERY much!! it has the FASTEST ENVELOPES I every listend to on ANY synthesizer!two filters and 3x FM – OSCs.. a lot of paramters can be patched using 3.5mm jacks but, hell.. I have never listended to a better synth for percussion sounds because of the 0.5ms Envelopes! the LFO is about 60Hz fast. Video (play with VLC) and 3 VCOs all FM able..Sinus, Triangle, Sawtooth, Triangle + Pulse, Pulse, syncable 2 VCOS!! means: vco 1 and2 , vco 2 and 3!! hard sync only, but 2 syncs!! and as said: the fastest envelopes on an analog synth ever since.. 2filters: 4-6poles!! (24-36dB/oct.) ranging up to 16khz! lpf only 2 ADSR envs 0.5ms minimum per stage! 20 secs max! the cwejman modular system: doepfer-sized modules, very slim.. very good and very fast env, here it is 0.1ms ,again faster than the s1’s envs (05.ms): | Cwejman this is a semi modular machine (no pic so far, but the delivery of the machiens has just started (fall/2003) LFO up to about 62Hz, random,saw/saw inverted,square waves patchable: speed,intensity, gate input  click s1 to enlarge..Cwejman  |

| Steiner Parker Modular the Synthasystemall discrete electronics in here of course.the steiner parker synthacon was sort of „minimoog“ synth with 3 VCOs and multimode filter with FM functionality and the valve instrument (on the right on the bottom picture) Steiner Parker Synthacon it has simplified envelopes like the minimoog (sort of..) and has a clock generator.. and a multimode filter 12dB/oct. quite a lot of features in times,where the sh5 was about to come and arp and moog dominated the synth world. anyway: this won’t be seen too often.. unfortunately.. |   |
| Buchla Music Easel uses banana jacks (!).. they are „stackable“..Don Buchla also made the Oberheim Ob-MX when Tom Oberheim left Oberheim (!) His Buchla Box 200e is a very big digital memory modular system with multi-staage envelopes and sequencers, complex control and very high price, but Buchla did a lot of very visionary/innovative synths in the same time when moog did his more popular and more known synths, buchla is a bit unconventional, even in 1982 he had programmable „controllers“ like todays sequencers in software in a box. (the mid phase of his modular series), means: see/draw in your envelope.. well, not that easy those days but very new.. Buchla has a new system out, a modular system with RAM, digital analog hybrid. |   |

| metasonix tube valve analogue modules and synthesizers.. this is filters and ringmod and distortion with VALVES by metasonix..very trashy design but sounds very mighty and basic!! nice addition to modular systems.. made in usa. available in germany by schneidersbuero and another .OGG file by „rechner7“ from the synthesizerforum.de made with agonizer tx1semore about metasonix and the wretch full tube synthesizer.. |  click to enlarge pics.. |
| former east germany AAC (VEB Automatisierungs- und Anlagenbau Cottbus).. TIRACON 6Vbeside the vermona synth (see vermona section!) there was the TIRACON 6V , it’s quite like a poly61 / poly800 programming style. on board sequencerincluding 4 Level – Envelopes and the „roland-style“ static hpf. of course it has a lpf main filter controlled by env and lfo .. there is a proto type around Tiracon C21 (red with black controls a bit like karma „look“ from 1989 that is a drum machine and a preset synth in one case plus some FX.. pic see this posting by Lutz |   from AAC (Automatisierungs- und Anlagenbau Cottbus, former easst germany). |
