SPD – ist schon ein klassischer Name für Roland, der vielleicht in Deutschland etwas zu bieder nach Schulz-Zug™ klingen mag, aber – es sind einfach 4 neue Pads mit verschiedenen Sounds und ein Sample-Pad um ein komplettes Sample abzuspielen, was mit Click versehen ist – gedacht ist es zum üben aber man kann natürlich auch einfach das Sample damit triggern und einfach ein simples Sample-Drum-Pad damit erhalten.

SPD is the Drum Pad series – there are 4 pads with 22 sounds each – except the sample pad which is made for playing along to the sample (the song) with a click – but can also be used as a classic sampling pad. it’s 4 purposes to play with feet, hands, sticks with 22 sounds or sampling (4th use case).
