Factory Reset:
Global Page 2: Memory. press "Preload". load one of these:
- 1PRG (1patch!)
- PROG (all presets)
- GLOBAL (Global parameters)

erfahrungsberich microkorg in deutsch / in german:..:
als user finde ich die tastatur entgegen allen anderen rufen geil! klein passt überall hin etc.. sie ist für live genau RICHTIG und eben nicht so riesig,wie eine 5okt synthstandardtastatur..
es ist also malwieder eine frage des sichtpunktes. nichts für jazzrocker sicherlich ;)
gut auch: die FX können auch von extern genutzt werden,was ich heut auch mache..
1)vocodieren
2)arpeggiieren
3)filtern
4)delay
5)EQing..
etc.. das kommt auch gut mit drummzzzz..

wegen audio: der klangverlust beim effektieren ist natürlich der ,der durch den AD verursacht wird.. das ist schon auch hörbar, es ist vermutlich derselbe wie in der alten e-tribe serie bzw. kaoss pad.. aber: es ist mir sch*** egal,weil das live kein schwein hört - der MS2000 /microkorg klingt sehr fett im club und setzt sich durch. dnb freunde werde mit sicherheit hier das richtige finden - tipp: hpf bässe mit etwas resonanz!! und distortion manuell dazugeben.. dies mal als etwas legerer "minibericht".. und weiter:

pro körgchen:
1) 2 lfos, audiospeed!!!
das ist musikalisch viel wert
2) die lfos sind midigesynct
3)filter klingen! und es gibt eine filterverzerrunggggg..
4) dwgs waves (siehe unten) und audio in.. vocoderzeugs..
klangliche nähe vc10..
5)fm, sync ringmod.

nachteile:
nicht alles geht gleichzeitig.. aber das körglein hat zB eine sägezahnsymmetriemod, was man bei einigen grossen vergeblich sucht.. dreht man am DWGS wave, gibts wavetableähnliche sounds.. man kann die waves aber nicht mit einer env durchfahren.. aber das wollte er ja auch nie sein. echtes plus!!..
- 4 stimmig /2 fach multitimbral.. ist nicht für jeden genug..
-könnt mehr knöpfe haben,die matrix muss man eben bisschen schalten.. man kann damit aber leben.. für 444 gibts numal keine megaknopfbox.

der MS2000 ist schon eine gute weile auf dem markt.. aber der microkorg erst seit gut nem jahr.. sind identisch,falls einer fragen will.. bis auf sequencer im ms2000,der im microkorg einem geilen 8step arp'er gewichen ist.. 8step?? ja man kann hier bestimmte steps rausnehmen,wie bei lauflichtmaschinen auch.. aber getriggert wird eben der arp'er... beim ms2000 gibts einen 16step sequencer,der auch rückwärts laufen kann und kann ne menge steuern..

ms2000b ist aktuell, MS-2000 normal ist ausverkauft.. unterscheidet sich nur gering (schwanenhals anschluss oben hinten und ein par arper/voc presets..)
gibts auch als rack ms2000B bzw ms2000.

eine editorsoftware für os9 und xp gibts gratis dazu beim microkorg und ms2000 es gibt auch sounddiver ada's die ebenso gut funktionieren.. no chance: os x...

sounddiver: you can edit both MS2000 , MS2000R and microkorg with the same adaption (microkorg will be visible when you klick on one of the MS2000 !!
as I said: the only difference between the MS2000 and microkorg is only the arp'er / sequencer. the ms2000's sequencer can also run backwarts and in back&forth mode with 16 for any event (controllers/parameters,pitch..)
the ARP'er of the microkorg is only 8 steps and can only control pitch/notes..

Der ms2000b ist ein umrüstsatz mit kleinen updates, eigentlich ein softwareupdate und das mikro ist nun oben auf dem gehäuse (vocoder)..
Also die updates sind vorallem ein paar arp'er modes mehr und das schwanenhalsmikro oben ,statt hinten sowie vocoder-updates..
the ms2000b is just a little mod to have the microphone on top of the machine for better performance and little software updates to the arper and vocoder. so 2000 users do NOT have to sell their ms2000 for THAT reason.

microkorg vs. MS2000 / B the difference..
 the ms2000(b) and microkorg share the same sound engine! so they are absolutely identical. the difference is: the microkorg has a "TR-like" ARPeggiator: means - you can set anything you migh imagine in an ARP'er including to set one of 8 steps (it's not a sequencer! but a hi-end arp'er).
the MS2000/b has a 16 step control sequencer, that can also change other than just "note"-data.. it is also able to run backwards!.. means: the ms2000's sequencers is a very live-able built in control and note sequencer..

Korg DW8000 & DW6000
 english: DW series & ms2000 / ms2000b / microkorg
this is a typical mid 80ies synth: also available as expander ex8000. dw-8000 had some spectra / waveforms that come a bit closer to the original "instrument" that was intended to be emulated. the ms2000 and the microkorg re-introduced those so called DWGS waves / waveforms into korgs newer VA (virtual analog) sound engine. the DW-8000

 it was one of the first, that had FX in it (as the poly800 and dss1 sampler it has a delay inside! - 512ms max), 8 voices (the smaller version dw6000 had 6 voices), 2 DCOs, analog filters (standard lpf). it has 64 patches and there has been an extension for splitting and layering sounds, anyway:
normally the dw 8000 is in poly mode only. has velocity response. 2 special eg: ADBSSR envelopes! but dw6000 and dw8000 have analogue filters! the microkorg & ms2000 are of course VA / digital! - back to DW arpeggiator on board, too! one lfo (called mg (modulation generator) on korg synths). released in 1985. btw: the original dw series had 16 dwgs waves, the ms2000 / MS2000R and microkorg got lots more! btw: if you turn the dwgs knob you can get a nice "wavetable-like" sound scan. the microkorg/ms2000 (same engine) also allow symmetry of all waveforms (saw etc..) with pulse it is called PWM ;) there is also the fm mode, it does not allow all waveforms, so you can have sine and the basic waveforms for fm. still cool for a lot of sounds.
also able to ringmod and sync the oscs or both!.. 4 mod routings allow to change parameters by velocity. the real cool thing is the "arpeggiator" (more than that), where you can set every of the 8 (16 on the ms2000) "steps" like the roland TR drum machines. the number of waveforms are different.

it's basically adding split modes and "2x multitimbrality" features and master key stuff (local off) and a random waveform (DWGS wave) and more memory..
für den dw8000 gibt es eine kleine erweiterung für splitten des keyboards /damit quasi 2fache multitimbralität) und eine random wellenform, mehr speicher und local off ,damit man den dw auch als masterkeyboard nutzen kann..
