Ich liebäugele grad mit besagtem Teil und da gibt es ja zwei Versionen: die "normale" mit den üblichen encodern und die Pot Edition mit echten Potentiometern.

Wie ist das denn mit den Pots - gibts da keine "Sprünge" wenn man ein preset aufruft und dran schraubt?

Wie sind denn so eure Erfahrungen?

Die Anfrage ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber da es mich gerade selbst interessiert. Laut DSI sollte es da keine Probleme geben, da es drei verschiedene "edit modes" gibt, einer davon (Passthru) holt klassisch ab.

The Prophet ’08 PE features three edit modes for the pots: Relative, Passthru, and Jump. In Relative mode, the value change is relative to the preset value. In Passthru mode, turning the pot has no effect until after the edited value equals the preset value (that is, until the edited value “passes through” the stored value). Jump mode uses an absolute value based upon the position of the pot when edited; turn a pot and the value jumps immediately from the stored value to the edited value.

Jetzt bleibt nur noch die Frage nach der Erfahrung - Prophet-User wie siehts aus: Funktioniert das ordentlich? Und: Ist die Pot Edition ein "muss"?
