Frage zum Waves Update-Plan

Hallo,

bei Waves ist es ja so, dass nach einem Jahr, nach dem Kauf, die Updates kostenpflichtig sind...Begrenzt ist der Preis auf $240.

Wie ist denn die Sache wenn ich erst nach 2 oder 3 Jahren meine Plugins wieder auf den neusten Stand bringen möchte? Wechsele ja auch nicht jährlich mein OS oder die Host Version... Ist der Preis für den Update-Plan dann auch nach oben begrenzt? Oder Kostet das ganze dann mehr als max. $240...? Da sich bei mir mittlerweile einige Plugins von Waves gesammelt haben, wäre das gar nicht schön..

Vielleicht kann hier jemand dazu was sagen.. Auf der Waves Seite hab ich auf die schnell nichts dazu gefunden...

Ist das echt so? Maximal 240?
Ich glaube da schon einen höheren Preis gesehen zu haben.

Vielleicht kann da ja mal einer was zu sagen, wie das jetzt bald 6 Jahre später aussieht?

Das Limit ist tatsälch bei 240
Den Plan kannst verlängern, wann immer du willst. Ich hab selber lange V9 benutzt und bin dann bei V11 wieder eingestiegen…
Solange der Plan aktiv ist, hat man 2 Authorizations…z.b Macpro und Notebook…

Aber Waves bestraft dich nicht, wenn du den Update Plan nicht nutzt…

How is the cost of the Waves Update Plan calculated?

The annual cost of Waves Update Plan renewal depends on which products you own, and how many. It can be as little as $12 per year for a single plugin, and is capped at $240, if you own just one copy of each product.

The annual cost can exceed the $240 cap per system, if you own more than one copy of a product (for example, if you are renewing the plan for two separate copies of the Mercury bundle).

Do I have to renew my Waves Update Plan?

Whether you renew is up to you.

If you wish to use your Waves product in the version you already own – without updating – you can continue to do so, as long as it remains compatible with your DAW and computer operating system.

(Please note, however, that after your Waves Update Plan for a given product expires, you will be able to use only one license of that product, on one computer at a time; you will no longer be able to use a second license on a different computer simultaneously.)
