Dieter Doepfer has a long History and I still have a catalogue with C64 based CEM/Curtis Synthesizers (8bit Computers), now he's known for one of the larges amount of modules and even the euro rack is called doepfer rack.
DER deutsche Modularsystem-Hersteller begann als Importeur und Bastler auf Basis von CEM / Curtis Chips und C64 bzw. Apple II, heute vermutlich Anbieter der größten Modularsynthesizer-Modulpalette.
Auch bekannt für nahe Zusammenarbeit mit Kraftwerk.
