need computer edit and to work , it is technically a JV1080/2080 incl structures, it looks like a dart-game because of its 2D pad which is very flexible, but it is not as easy to ue as a groove machine since it has no real chase light sequencing, with a midi keyboard this works ok with realtime and step input..

Die einer Dartscheibe nicht unähnliche D2 in knall-orange war innerlich identisch mit dem JV1080/2080 oder XV1010/2020, der 2020 bekam auch usb und kann via computer editiert werden. Der Sequencer ist sicher nicht so perfekt, aber das 2D Pad war wirklich vielseitig..

The Envelopes are all 7 or 8 parameter-multisegment ones! The filters are all ok exept the strange clipping at a certain level of resonance with some waveforms. full control via Midi SysEx. ringmod can be placed between the 4 layers: this is the prototype of Rolands following JV series and lots more.8MB ROM waves. FXM = sort of FM with square wave (depth and colour) 10 structures instead of 6 on the JD990 (added boost), the sequencer allows step and realtime input via midi , but it is not really made for performance but it can be used as a performance tool when you do not need to edit notes on stage.. the 2d pad allows playing sequences backwards, modulate it and play around with it, so it in fact a good live tool for THAT reason. has cinch out only (well, a bit too much "DJ" stuff, huh?), midi in + out, only soft thru.

Die Hüllkurven (12 Stück also) sind alles Multisegment-Hüllkurven mit Time-Level Struktur (7, bzw 8 Parameter), Die Filter sind gewohnt gut, nur gibt es bei bestimmten Wellenformen eine Art Clipping bei höheren Resonanzwerten. war komplett SysEx-Echtzeit steuerbar per Midi. die ringmod kann zwischen den 4 Layern platziert werden. diese Struktur wurde lange beibehalten zB JV Serie. 8MB ROM waves. FXM= eine Art FM mit rechteck (parameter: colour + depth) pro OSC nutzbar. 10 Verschaltungen (structures) statt 6 beim JD990 boost kam dazu. der sequencer ist lauflicht in seiner anzeige, braucht aber ein midi keyboard , um damit wirklich arbeiten zu können, als groovebox mehr was zum performen und rumspielen, nicht aber zum editieren der sequencen, auch wenn realtime und step möglich sind.. mit dem pad kann man sequencen sogar rückwärts abspielen und einige andere dinge machen ,die schon viel spass machen und live-performance doch interessant machen. midi in und out, kein thru nur via soft thru, cinch outs (etwas doof), keine klinken.. etwas zu viel "DJ"..
