Digidesign now under the Avid label. Avid was originally focussed on video editing but later came into the audio business..

also got hardware (audio interfaces) and under the sub labels and well established companies they also got controllers and hardware as well (beside the video stuff)

they also bought M-Audio but sold it to inMusic Group in 2012.
