ABOUT after the MPC60 this was the one that may define the term "groovebox", sample based workstation for beats and club sound. not the perfect live performance but works..
ABOUT der Nachfolger der MPC60 wurde wohl zum Inbegriff der "Groovebox" mit Samples und Loops, einem eher schlappen Filter (plastik!) aber dynamischen Pads. Gern live genutzt ,wenn auch nicht DIE Live-Maschine

THE MANUFACTURER
Kaum einer kenn nicht die berühmte S-Serie Sampler des chinesischen Herstellers mit weissem Rack-Gehäuse, sie waren der Verkaufsschlager der 80er und in wirklich jedem Studio zu finden, wirklich innovativ waren sie aber eher mit der MPC und einigen Synthesizern (AX und VX Serie und speziell dem VX600), jedoch hatten sie beim Verkauf der Synthesizer nicht so viel Erfolg. Gegründed von Masukichi Akai.
