ABOUT Hohner cloned the FZ1 and FZm rack as HS1 because Casio hat no real name for pro-synths, so they teamed up with Hohner in germany since they were well known for everything else, but not really for synths - possibly not the best political decision in life and Casio does no Professional Synth for years. the Casio Sampler was quite ahead in its time: it was cheap and it had 16bit. the FZ1 (same as Hohners only sampler HS1 in germany) was the first reasonable 16bit sampler. some additive synthesis on board, quite nice.. and cheap those days.. the cheapst samplers - more toys were the SK keyboards (sk1, sk7)
ABOUT Baugleich mit Casio FZ1, bzw FZ10m (rack), eigentlich in Lizenz mit/für Casio gebaut, da Casio "keinen Namen" hatten.
Casios Sampler war damals recht fortschrittlich und 16bit, wo andere noch 12bit hatten.
Den Casio FZ20m gab es nicht mehr von Hohner.

DETAILS its disc drive wrote 1.6MB on one disc, thats a lot, has 8 (!) loop segments, also additve static spectrum generation and drawing of new waveforms.
DETAILS sein Laufwerk brachte 1.6MB auf eine Diskette, sehr speziell also, dazu hatte er 8stufige time-level Hüllkurven. Es gab additive (statische) Synthese und Welleform Zeichen-Tools an Bord.
Besitzt eine 8fache-Loop-Funktion, was sehr ungewöhnlich ist.
Kann aus Samples Waves für die Synthese "ausschneiden".
Konnte mit Samples scratchen (HipHop) via man das Pitchbend per "Funktion" benutzte.
Per Software (Diskette) Sequencer und andere Funktionen zusätzlich.

THE MANUFACTURER
Sehr traditioneller Musikinstrumente Hersteller, hatten eine Weile in den späteren 80ern / frühen 90ern eine Zusammenarbeit mit Casio. Dennoch gab es auch Entwicklungen wie das/die Hohnerrola als Teil des Siemens-Studios für elektronische Musik 1956, jedoch waren sie sicher keine ausgesprochene Synthesizerfirma und werden es wohl auch nicht mehr.
