ABOUT an expander for the semomodular ms series, the ms50 is real modular (while ms10/20 aren't really modular), a bit overrated and therefore expensive.

DETAILS nice dirty filters, one LPF with Resonance - the MG (modulation generator = LFO) has a symmetry control, the waveforms must be patched like the noise generator or inverted envelopes. it has real 2 ADSR envelopes, ringmod. with this the MS series can also create FM. ). DETAILS Der MS50 hat einen Resonanzfilter ,der wunderbar "kaputt" klingt. im ms50 läuft alles über Patchkabel gibt es Noise und die invertierte Hüllkurve. Der MG (LFO) hat einen Symmetrieregler. MG=Modulation Generator und der MS50 bietet 2 komplette ADSR Hüllkurven. ringmod. Mit diesem Expander kann immerhin FM generiert werden (mit einem MS Synth). CV: V/Hz-Logik, S-trigger

SOUND sick and industrial sounds and lots of dirt is what the MS can do at it's best, it's a bit different than other synths.. and thats a good thing.
SOUND kranke industrielle Klänge liegen ihm ,da er sich immer ein wenig dreckiger und unsauberer verhält als andere.. extreme einstellungen klingen manchmal schon ohne ringmod etwas schräg.
