ABOUT real full polyphonic synth by moog but also likes to see service quite often. memory for some sounds that can be "programmed". Created by Dr.Luce (working at Moog). heavy.
there's a polymoog keyboard with preset "offset" kind of editing. it has less faders and knobs, so don't confuse them.
note that the polymoog isn't really polyphonic, it's paraphpnic because it has only one filter but enough oscillators to be full polyphponic like an/some organs are. the oscs are based on the same technology.

DETAILS full polyphonic by frequency division, it's 12 VCOs (each saw and pulse) with divider (each). resonator filter bank (3x with gain,emphasis,level), VCO waveforms can sound at the same time and detuned (!). has a ribbon controller (pitch).

Resonatorbank mit 3 Resonatoren (parameter: freq, filter güte,level). VCO Wellen können gleichzeitig erklingen und gegeneinander verstimmt (!) werden. hat pitch-ribbon controller.
DETAILS
SOUND not ideal for live performance (heavy, hard to repair), has it's special sound, resonatorbank makes it nice, it's not a bass synth moog but for multi-reso sounds its fine.
SOUND nicht livetauglich, weil schwer und anfällig, sehr spezieller sound, wenn auch nichts für fette klänge, dennoch interessant durch resonatorbank.

Bob Moog died in 2005 and had to fight a long time to re-use his own name, he worked under the big briar name when that happened, but he had some took overs and collaborations with lots of companies like norlin, musonics and the coops: Crumar, Realistic and others..

THE MANUFACTURER
Muss man über Moog was sagen? Gegründet von Robert Arthur Moog (genannt Bob Moog). Er baute zunächst Theremine und hatte nach den ersten Erfolgen mit dem Modularsystem und dem Minimoog andere Firmen, die die Firma übernahmen wie Norlin und Musonics, es gab auch unzählige Zusammenarbeiten mit anderen wie beim Crumar Spirit oder dem Realistic Moog MG1/Concertmate, Heute arbeitet die Firma ohne ihren August 2005 verstorbenen Gründer. Die Moog Foundation kümmert sich heute um sein Erbe, während Moog Music heute eine andere Philosophie verfolgt. Bob war sicher kein perfekter Geschäftsmann wie viele andere US Schmieden von Synthesizern auch, er hatte lange um seinen Namen kämpfen müssen und firmierte in der Zeit als Big Briar.
