ABOUT this is sort of a Prophet 6 but with Tom Oberheim in it.
Tom was envolved by Dave to make a real Oberheim - hence the optical look-alike exterior.
what is different from the P6? The VCAs, the oscillators and the SEM filter which can morph from lowpass to highpass replaces the classic 24db/oct.
the sound is so much like oberheim.
btw it has a sub osc. unlike the SEM's.

ABOUT Mit Tom Oberheim zusammen hat Dave Smith das SEM Filter in den Prophet 6 eingebaut. Allerdings sind hier andere Oszillatoren und Filter und sogar VCAs im Einsatz, es ist also nicht nur ein Bauteil, was "etwas anders" ist.
Der Klang ist damit typisch Oberheim, der Rahmen und Verwaltung so wie man das vom Prophet 6 kennt.
Achja, ein Suboszillator ist auch drin, was die SEMS nicht hatten.

SOUND Allrounder - sehr sehr direkt, deckt alles ab, super Sache - 1 LFO ist etwas knapp, aber sonst ein sehr inspirierendes Interface

VERSION der Prophet 6 ist technisch ähnlich aber mit anderen Oszillatoren, Filter und VCA - und klingt daher komplett anders - er hat ein 24/Oct Filter - der OB-6 hingegen ein 12dB/Okt Mulimodefilter.
