how to make most of lesser knobs with the most output? a may stand for analog since the analog filter types are in here (as well as the nl4) but an A stands at the beginning, so this may help anyone who want it simple and effective?

ABOUT Ein vereinfachtes Bedienkonzept ist neben dem Nord Lead 4 hinzu gekommen. Der A1 steht für "analog", vielleicht auch für "Anfänger".
Die Idee hier ist, möglichst viel Funktion mit möglichst wenig Knöpfen anzubieten.
Wie beim NL4 fehlt auch hier der Aftertouch.

DETAILS the mutator works as a darwinistic morpher between sounds as well as a random source of new sounds.
One LFO is just a slow Vibrato LFO with one waveshape. the Mod Env can be used as an LFO when it is set to loop mode.
the sound engine itself has still FM, AM, doubling and shaping - but all under control of 5 Knobs. so it's not at the same time but alternatively possible to use those.
