ABOUT very cool but not so often sold those days (was expensive) the Keyboard Version of the Micro Q - the cheap version of the Q series but with less knobs and dynamic voice allocation. 25 and 75 Voices.in fact it is 12 resp. 45 voices max. the first virtual analogue synthesizer from Waldorf with awosome features at that time: Wavetables, free FM of all OSCs and filters, FX and fast LFOs.
ABOUT Die kleine aber feiner Keyboardversion des Micro Q - die abgespeckte Version des Q mit weniger Reglern und dynamischer Stimmenzuweisung. es gab 25 und 75 Stimmen Versionen, real kommen etwa 12 bzw. 45 Stimmen heraus. der erste virtuell analoge Synthesizer von Waldorf mit damals einzigartigen Features wie Wavetables, FM zwischen den Oszillatoren und Filtern, Effekte inkl Vocoder, schnelle LFOs.
ABOUT
DETAILS routing and FX limited and no digital out, compared to the big Q series. LFOs range up to 2600 Hz , midi syncable, 4 multistage ENVs make real FM possible since all OSCs can be used as source and the "fast modmatrix" allows 8slots for OSC routing. the 2 Wavetables consist of 128 Waves. FX contain delay, reverb and vocoder etc. a nice analog step type of sequencer but hard to use in multimode. (Hardware: Waldorf Q --- Motorola 56303 (3 of them in the Q KB and raQ, where 2 are for the synthesis and 1 is dedicated to FX only! only 1 but faster DSP works in the micro Q/micro Q KB for all synthesis and FX!))
DETAILS routing und FX etwas eingeschränkt, es fehlt auch der digitalausgang im vergleich zum großen Q. lfos gehen bis 2600 Hz, midi synchronisierbar, 4 mehrstufen-Hüllkurven machen sogar echte FM möglich (jeder OSC kann als Quelle dienen und es gibt eine "fast Modmatrix" mit Noise und OSCs als Quellen, 8 Slots), Die beiden Wavetables haben 128 Waves. FX: hall, delay, vocoder etc. es gibt einen bord sequencer, ist jedoch im multimode etwas umständlich, dafür aber als analogstepper gedacht.

VERSION recent OS 2.22- Q is available as rack, as 25 or 75 voice version or as Q+ with 16 analogue filters up to 100 voices (dynamically ,so 66 is more realistic). colours: blue or yellow. alternatively Q keyboard.
updates: the lite version can be upgraded from 12 to 25 by software, the 25 to 75 voices upgrade needs hardware change. and note that the 25 btw 75 voices are dynamically assigned: in fact it will be around 15 and: 45 if you use all features like filterFM, all OSCs etc.
Q/Q+ Phoenix edition (from 2007) same with new colours, looks better, dark with red lettering (!)
