ABOUT Rackversion des DX7II, aber 8fach multitimbral. Nachfolger des DX7 mit besseren Wandlern und Dual/Split Mode. Ein Klassiker, der DX7 war DER Durchbruch für Yamaha mit der FM-Synthese (Frequenzmodulation), in der erstmals und für damals deutlich weniger Geld wirklich "echter"klingende Sounds möglich waren. FM und Dynamik, die man von den Analogen nicht kannte.
