Recording of Music within a Church

Weil ich die Frage gerade schonmal englisch formuliert hatte und das Forum ja eh bilingual ist poste ich sie hier einfach unverändert rein =)

I just had a Concert recently which featured a combination of electronic music and church-organ and now we want to repeat it to record it. But the question is : How to do this best? I think my buddy has an idea of how to record "his" organ but we have no clue of how to best record the electronic stuff. Of course, we could just only record the organ and then add the electronic music digitally, but the problem is, that the electronic music has been produced within the church and for the special church audio characteristics like its reverb and other propertys. It does not sound good "vanilla". And also : The Church has this great reverb you use fucking expensive plugins to simulate. So the questions are:

What kind of Mics to use?
More than two?
Where to place them?
Other Tipps?

A rough sketch of the church (medium sized neogothic one with a romantic organ...)

Code:
------------
fat organ
------------

x x

x x

x x

- -
  \________/
x = location of the speakers tilted towards inside and a little to the back

thx for help!
