DSI Evolver Desktop ext. Clock durch external IN?

Ich habe den Evolver Desktop mit Main V.3.0 und DSP V.3.5 (Baujahr 2007). Das aktuelle Online-Manual mit der Versionsnr. 3.2a (seltsam, wo doch 3.0 die neueste Version sein soll) führt auf Seite 42 unter MIDI clock settings die Option auf: "Ei". In diesem Modus soll man den Sequencer per Trigger-Signal durch den External Input ansteuern können. Leider gibt es diese Option in meinem Exemplar nicht, übrigens auch nicht bei dem Vorführmodell, das ich neulich bei Justmusic in Berlin gesehen habe.
Seltsamerweise wird die "MIDI Clock Setting"-Konfiguration auch auf Seite 15 erläutert, dort aber ohne dieses Feature, da tauchen auch genau die Parameter auf, die ich am Gerät einstellen kann.
Hat jemand eine Ahnung, was es damit auf sich hat? Ist dieses Feature jemals implementiert worden? Das wäre ja ein richtiges Zuckerl. Ich habe die Befürchtung, dass es sich dabei nur um einen Papiertiger handelt.

The Sequencer does not affect the clock output of the Evolver, it only slaves off of it. The trigger mode only affects when the sequence plays, the sequence however is still bound to the bpm of the unit. You would need to use a CV to MIDI interface to achieve what you described.

Keine Ahnung in wieweit das noch implementiert ist, ein MEK user aus einem anderen Forum hat diese Option auch nicht drin. Vielleicht direkt mal bei Pym im DSI Forum nachfragen?

Bah. So I went to my evolver to try out the settings under "midi
clock" and the external in settings weren't there. I emailed DSI and
they told me that the settings were moved to "trigger sel" with the
3.0 OS: "That moved in version 3 to the 'Trigger Sel' parameter,
mostly to bring it in line with the other Evolver models, but also
because it's not really a clock parameter."
I originally got that info from the version 2.0 manual.
