Hier steht geschrieben, was es mit diesem dubiosen "X-Factor VST" der Yama-Hasen auf sich hat:

Yamaha Announces X Factor DVD and Web Community

Thousands in Added Value Bundled With Music Production Products

ANAHEIM, Calif. (January 17, 2008)—Yamaha Corporation of America announces the new X Factor DVD to be
bundled with all music production products beginning in January 2008. This DVD and its accompanying website
(www.XfactorVST.com) represent over 1.3 Gigabytes of sounds, samples, software and special rebates and coupons
worth thousands of dollars.

X Factor is the “neXus” for Yamaha music production customers, Steinberg Cubase AI users and best in class VST and
digital content providers to come together in a community and provide essential tools for music production. The X Factor
DVD contains new HALion One sounds from Sonic Reality, the S90ES piano sample from Yamaha in HALion One format,
a special edition of IK Multimedia’s SampleTank with sounds from over $3500 worth of IK Multimedia’s premier products
like the Miroslav Philharmonik (which includes the Miroslav Vitous Orchestral library), SampleMoog, Sonik Synth 2,
StudioPhonik, SampleTank 2.5 and SampleTron. In addition, there are special versions of FXpansion’s BFD Drum VST
and Arturia Analog Factory 2 with sounds from Arturia’s masterful collection of Virtual Analog Synths. Audio Loops from
Sonic Reality and MIDI loops from Keyfax New Media round out this huge collection of digital content.

In addition to the vast collection of sounds on the X Factor DVD, there are thousands of dollars worth of rebate coupons
and added value offers from Antares, ASK Video, Broadjam, Electronic Musician , Electrix, Garritan, KeytoSound, Obedia,
Steinberg and Tunecore.

An accompanying website, www.XFactorVST.com, is a community where Yamaha and Steinberg customers as well as
VST developers and content partners can come to together to discuss how to make the most of these powerful tools and
offer continuing access to more VSTs, sounds and promotions.

The X Factor DVD will come bundled with all Yamaha music production products, including KX Series MIDI controllers,
Motif XS Series Synthesizers, Mo Series Synthesizers, MM6, S Series Synthesizers, MW, N and 0 Series Mixers and more.
