Rlx 1.1.0 & Shipping - April Update

Hey everyone, We hope this spring finds you with some great weather and a creative mood! It’s been an intense few weeks here—with some solid wins, a few hurdles, and a whole lot of work—but let’s keep this short and to the point. The First Rlx Update: Vardousia 1.1.0 is Here! This is Reliq’s first official OS update, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who shared feedback, bug reports, and feature suggestions. Some of your ideas are already included in this release—and many more are in the works for future updates. Rlx Vardousia 1.1.0 – Released April 2025 This update brings new creative tools, improved workflows, and a wide range of refinements under the hood. New Features •Song Mode: A new Song page allows for structured arrangements using blocks and snapshot sequencing. •Undo/Redo: Available on all pages. •MIDI Automation: Each track supports up to 8 lanes of CC automation, editable from the grid. •MIDI FX Engine: The first MIDI effect, Arpeggiator, is now available. More FX are under development for future updates. •External MIDI Control: Reliq’s core functions can now be controlled from any external MIDI device via the host port. Enhancements •LFOs & Envelopes can now target external MIDI CCs •USB host improvements: Devices connected via hubs are now available as MIDI inputs •“Note” page renamed to KEYS for clarity •Clip Follow Chains: Hold a track button, then select a start and end clip to auto-create a follow chain •Smooth re-sync for LFOs when rate changes mid-playback •Breakout module connection status now appears on the status bar •On-screen confirmations added for Save, Undo/Redo, and other key actions •Save Anywhere: The SAVE button now works on all pages •Mute and Solo controls are now available on Matrix, Mix, Keys, LFO, and ENV pages Fixes & Improvements •Fixed pad hang on KEYS and P-Lock pages •Eliminated LED flickering •Trig conditions now persist between clips •Improved CV envelope stability •Resolved project category freeze bug •MIDI input can now be set to None •Resolved page scrolling via Shift + Arrows in LFO and ENV pages •Global sequencer settings now persist correctly across clips •General performance and UI polish throughout Production & Shipping On the production front, the final missing component—screen protectors—is now in, and the first QC round was successful! We’ve already assembled and shipped a batch of Reliqs this week, and we’re now preparing to ramp up assembly. As final inspections wrap up, a significantly larger production round is being set up. This next group of Reliqs is planned to ship together across May–June. The shipping estimates in the account dashboards have been updated to reflect the latest info from suppliers and the assembly line—and so far, everything remains on track.

Rlx 1.1.1 – Now Available,​

This release focuses on new features, enhancements, and fixes based on the incredible feedback we received after 1.1.0.

New Features,​

• Momentary Page Switching: Hold any page button for a temporary view, returning automatically when released.,
• Global Offset Edits: Hold SHIFT and turn an encoder in the Piano Roll to adjust the clip’s global parameter offset.,
• Track Arming: Press REC + Track to instantly arm a track for monitoring and recording.,
• Shift+Mute / Shift+Solo: Instantly release all mutes or solos using these quick shortcuts.,

Enhancements,​

• Brighter Cursor LEDs: Better visibility in bright studio environments.,
• MIX Faders Can Now Be Set to 0: Just hold SHIFT and press the last pad in the Mix page.,
• Cleaner UI: Improved behavior when switching between pages, editing automation, or using the Piano Roll.

• Improved track states when loading a new project.,
• Better reliability for project saving, clip LEDs, and recording.,
