Hardware

  • 8 CV outputs – 0–10 V
  • 8 Gate outputs – 0 or 5 V
  • 17 endless rotary encoders for maximum control and playability
  • Clock & Start In with variable PPQN
  • Clock & Start Out with variable PPQN
  • TRS MIDI input – synchronisation and/or MIDI to CV
  • TRS MIDI output – for transport and clock output
    • TRS MIDI input and output can be individually switched between type A and B via jumpers on the rear panel.
  • USB MIDI to host interface for synchronisation and/or MIDI to CV interface
  • CV input – accepts -5 V to 5 V
  • 26 HP
  • 25 mm depth

Software

  • 8 tracks, each with CV and gate pair
  • Parameters per track:
    • Swing
    • Clock divider (1/8, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 1, 4/3, 3/2, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8)
    • Scale quantisation, root note and scale (various 12 TET scales and others)
    • Play mode (normal, reverse, random, ping pong)
    • Number of steps from 1-64
    • Kick/step shift
    • Transpose in semitone steps.
  • For each step:
    • Quantisable CV, can be displayed as note, cent, volt or hertz
    • Gate length from 0 to 64
    • Microtiming
    • Probability
    • Glide (stepped or continuous)
    • Retrigger
    • Additional CV modulation with
      • a decay envelope or
      • a synchronised LFO – triangle, square or ramp, adjustable rate
      • or VCA envelope, optimised for percussive use, hold time, decay time and change
  • The degree of modulation is variable

    Microtiming
  • Pattern generation with Euclidean sequences
  • MIDI-to-CV interface
    • Each track can be a MIDI-to-CV interface.
    • Choose between TRS or USB MIDI input
    • Change the polyphony from 1 to 8 voices
    • The next CV output can be used for velocity.
    • Quantisation for scaling
    • Additional glide
  • Copy and paste steps, tracks and patterns for faster editing
  • Internal memory for 16 patterns
    • A pattern has 8 tracks
    • Switch between patterns without overwriting or having to save existing patterns.
  • Song mode
    • Patterns can be arranged and parameters adjusted while the song is playing.
    • Adjust pattern length and tempo per pattern
    • Save up to 16 songs
  • Flash memory
    • Up to 256 patterns, organised into 16 banks with 16 patterns each
    • All settings are saved automatically.
  • Extensive synchronisation options with other equipment
    • Tested with many different other devices to ensure synchronisation with other devices.
  • Light and dark mode
  • CV In
    • Parameters can be changed via the CV input, affected tracks can be selected.
      • Transpose
      • Retrigger
    • Change the tempo
    • Switch between any of the 16 internal patterns
    • Attenuate and invert the CV input
  • Play live and adjust your sequence.
    • Mute tracks
    • Modulation can be disabled per step by pressing a knob.
    • Keyboard shortcuts for quick switching between tracks and parameters
    • Keyboard shortcut for changing parameters for all tracks, e.g. transpose
  • Additional window for displaying the current status of all inputs and outputs
  • The firmware is updatable.
