yes detroit mostly used yamaha dx´s like tx81zdx100 dx21 and 707/727/909s
also mostly romplers like roland jv series

Found a better quality Video Version of the track, most of the sounds doesn't sound like they came from the DX7, but the sine Lead and bass/stab sound could haven an 4 Op/6Op FM origin.
