Presonus has 2 little Fader Boxes for $179 (don’T know the real price in €).. check out the very last part of the video to see the controllers working.. imo they are reduced to the important things.. Sonic State – News (Video Item) NAMM06: Presonus – New Interface and One Moving Fader, Firestudio and Faderport seems quite the functionality of motu 828 mk2 or RME fireface (mix matrix etc.) plus those 2 controllers.
never heard of this before but saw it on matrixsynth, here’s another nice review of the NAMM incl Akais new EWI4000 and MPC2500.. One Blue Monkey btw: you can reach matrix synth by typiing it and add .com now.. ;)
ok, here are some videos: mc808 and Gmedia who seem not want to hide a new product.. the mc808 seems still have the same editor as the mc909, so no step edit in one go like on electribes etc.. find Radias Video here , too, Mono Evolver and soon some more I assume.. they are big and rich ,.. watch it.. I learned that an mc seems still be limited and its about 1100€ over here.. not to expensive.. but still not a live tool.. strange.. huh? I am still…

Welcome to Roland U.S. here it is.. the mc808.. it has motorfaders, mc909 features (means dynamic pads but not real time step sequencer, I really hope that this is the first mc where steps can be edited while playing without stopping the sequencer.. 128 voices, usb for sample transfer d-beam CAN SOMEWONE AT NAMM CHECK THIS THING OUT.. especially if the mc808 has still the problem with recording while playing?
tja, das wird sicher einiges ändern in der Landschaft. MM strukturiert um: Keyboards nur noch 6x im Jahr! meine Vermutung: Produktion und Sound wird nun mit 12x Kompressoren, DAW (Cubase, Logic und Co) und einige Produktions-Tools nach vorn bringen, dazu das nötige drumrum.. Keyboards wird daher sich auf seine Werte rückbesinnen.. Da es auch „Funtasten“ gibt für die „Mucker“, kann man hier mal raten, was da reinkommt.. Modern und sicher Zeitgerecht, da das DAW Zeugs und Kompression ja kein Synth-only Thema ist..
well NAMM is close (19th, Jan) but this europe, so we’ll get our info through US sites and blogs, so this time it is about watching the big and smaller ones. there are rumours around for another mc808, a smaller mc909, hope it is the furst live-able one since no mc allows access of the steps like the electribe does or the xbase999 , machinedrum etc. maybe we’ll see another korg? anyway, there is nothing I know of that is much of a surprise.. we’ll see.. NAMM 2006 steht am…
