The 2019 Zürich Modular Fest aims to bring together creatives, professionals, hobbyists and the public to pay tribute to analog electronics and modular synthesis through talks, workshops and performances.
The 3 days festival offers:
- Modular Workshops for both beginners and advanced wigglers
- DIY Workshops learn to solder, build your own modules, bend circuits
- Concerts including live performances

An der diesjährigen Superbooth kündigt Ableton mit CV Tools eine Sammlung von zehn kreativen Max-for-Live Anwendungen für die Live 10 Suite an die Pitch-, Control-, Clock- und Trigger-CV erzeugen oder empfangen. Das kreative Ableton Pack wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit Skinnerbox, erfahrene Performer im Berliner Nachtleben, entwickelt. Skinnerbox wird uns während der CV-Tools Präsentation die Möglichkeiten aufzeigen und das 10.1 Pack näher bringen.

we make music with modular, synthesizers and drum machines. our passions are flashing led’s, turning knobs and most of all the creation of captivating atmospheres through sound. Often we play fast-paced music that makes you want to dance but we appreciate it a lot to go beyond our habituated sound areas.
06. Simon Grab – Feedbacks und No-Input Mixing (CH)
Simon Grab setzt in seiner aktuellen musikalischen Auseinandersetzung das Element in den Fokus, das all seine bisherigen Arbeiten durchzieht: das Prinzip der Rückkopplung. Mittels Feedback-Schlaufen und No Input Mixing untersucht Grab das Potential selbstoszillierender Systeme. In der inhaltlichen Auseinandersetzung wird das Klangmaterial in der Musiktradition verortet, und gleichzeitig in Bezug gesetzt zum Zeitgeist der aktuellen elektronischen Musik modularer Synthesizer.

*Marta SmiLga is an experimental ambient music project, which is focused on synthesizing deep immersive cosmic soundscapes, using only electronic music instruments, mostly modular and keyboard synthesizers.
