featuring:
Michael Peters a.k.a. Veloopity from Cologne,
who will play guitar and the original Tape Loop System with two Revox machines, as used by Terry Riley, Brian Eno & Robert Fripp. That's definitely something you don't get to see very often, so don't miss out this!
Next on the bill is:
Markus Reuter on touchguitar
who has toured the World as a soloist, with Tony Levin's Stickmen, Crimson ProjeKct, with Centrozoon and many other projects. Coming back to Berlin from touchguitar tutorings in the US and Mexico, he will make it to the show just in time.
The event will be hosted by:
Leander Reininghaus, (Starscape, ex-Ton-Steine-Scherben Band "Neues Glas",student of Robert Fripp's Guitar Craft Lessons and much more)
who will play livelooping versions of Erik Satie's Musique d'Ameublement and other ambient and minimalist classics.
In closing, it might be valid to mention that the three musicians once had a band together 20 years ago called Trio GuitariStick. So, Friday night will have somewhat of a revival-ish quality which may or may not be honored with one or two tunes from the old days... just wait and see!
