FLStudio OSX native (alpha) angekündigt für Juli `15

Aus dem IL Forum ging von Scott hervor dass im July 2015 die Alpha-Testphase beginnen sollte.

We plan to start alpha testing July (this is not a promise, but the plan as of the moment).

Die FLStudio OSX Alpha ist raus, V.0.1 wird gerade gesaugt.

Natürlich ist das nur mal zum schauen, sehr viele Bugs und keinesfalls für eine Produktion geeignet.

As ALPHA software FL Studio OS X Alpha 0.1 IS missing features. It will crash, it is buggy AND is NOT ready for production work. The purpose of this ALPHA is to:

1. Show you where we are up to with FL Studio for OS X and to assuage fears that we are *really* working on it.

2. To get some idea of how this installs and runs on a wide range of systems. Lets us know about graphics performance. We have a lot of optimizations to do here.

Requirements:

1. OSX 10.8 or later (see below if you are El Capitan)
2. You must be admin user to install and run

Notable things that DO NOT WORK yet:

Drag-drop from browser tree. (workaround: right click in tree and select from popup menu)
VST/AU plugins (only the included FL plugins are supported)
Ogg-encoded wav files (we are working on it. .ogg files load fine though)
Using multiple monitors (so far only working on primary monitor)
MIDI input/output
Proper retina scaling (now it scales so pixels are doubled in retina mode)

Hab da nicht mehr die Details im Kopf, aber konnte man sich nicht beteits vor ca. 2 Jahren schon eine Betaversion für OSX runterladen, oder war das eine noch frühere Alpha? Also ich hab schon mal was runtergeladen... Was war da in der Zwischenzeit geschehen?

Das gibt es schon einige Zeit. Sieht so aus als haben sie die Lust eher verloren.

Kann ich nicht bestätigen, die arbeiten mit Sicherheit dran...sonst würden die ja kaum eine Alpha rausschicken, die schon nativ läuft und eine Installationsroutine für OSX hat und zudem noch einige Funktionen mitbringt die zum probieren einlädt.

Also ich prophezeie mal eine beta, in diesem Jahr noch.

Die war nicht nicht nativ, sondern eine Crossover-Version mit Hilfe von "Codeweaver" in einem Wrapper gelaufen, die hab ich aktuell laufen unter OSX. Geht bisher für die Version 11 und es soll angeblich, laut einem Video, auch 12 drin laufen. Ist aber eben nicht nativ.
