Ich gehe einfach mal davon aus, daß Midi anständig funktioniert. Es gibt sicher ein entsprechendes Video auf YT. Kommt natürlich immer darauf an, welche Midi-Funktionalität du erwartest. Ich finde, je simpler je besser und so öfter würde ich es nutzen.

Eine 2500 mit JJ OS ist das halt nicht, was MIDI angeht... Klar kann man immer abspecken, wirkt ggfs. sogar positiv auf den Workflow. Das sind meine Gedankengänge.

Das Resampling ist im Handbuch auf S. 56 doch super beschrieben:

Resampling
Resampling plays a wave file through the Classic anti-aliasing input filter and rerecords it at 26KHz and 12-bits. Select Resample from the Track Settings menu, or press F4 when a WAV file is selected in the file browser.
Make sure the gain knob on the back is turned all the way up. That is, to the right as you look at the front of the machine, or said another way, toward the screen.
Press Rec/Edit during resampling to cancel the process. The partially resampled file is still saved. The Resample screen has the following fields:
Save To
The destination for the resampled file. Options are:
Project: The project folder
Same Folder: The same folder as the original file Other Folder: Any folder of your choosing
Project
The name of the project where the resampled file will be saved. Project is only shown when Save To is set to Project. If the current project has not been saved, then this field is editable, and there will be an asterisk next to the word Project indicating that a new project will be created.
Folder
The destination folder where the resampled file will be saved. If Save To is set to Other Folder, then this field is editable. Folder is not shown when Save To is set to Project. Select the folder name to display the file browser and pick a different folder.
Name
The name of the resampled file. Defaults to the original file name plus _resample.
Pitch Shift
When the original file is played, the pitch can be shifted up or down. The resulting resampled sound will retain that pitch shift.
Pitch like 33@45
Sets the pitch shift to +5.37 semitones, which is the equivalent of playing a 33 RPM record at 45 RPM. The sample can then be pitched down 5 or 6 semitones for that Classic sound.

Ich musste meine übrigens aufschrauben, weil die Kabel der Stromversorgung zu nah an das Flachbandkabel geraten waren und wohl Einstreuungen verursacht haben. Erst dann lief das Update durch. Lt. Isla-Forum ein bekanntes Problem.

...hmmm...

...kann es sein, dass die pads prellen und/oder unterschiedlich empfindlich sind?...teilweise muss man ein pad nur scharf ansehen und es triggert, in anderen Fällen löst ein trigger mehrfach aus...

...die neueste firmware ist installiert...

Ich würde ein Ticket aufmachen. Die Pads sind eigentlich super und triggern normalerweise auch ordentlich.

...vielen Dank - ich hör mir das jetzt nochmal an - ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass das Problem direkt vor der Maschine sitzt und für ein Ticket ist locker noch Zeit...

wow, grossartiges update! echt faszinierend, wie das OS weiterentwickelt wird. habe ich bisher bei keinem anderen hersteller so erlebt.

Sympathischer Typ. Der freut sich richtig und hat Spass bei der Sache. Hut ab!
Workflow gefällt mir bei den neuen Funktionen. Ich wünschte mir natürlich noch weitreichendere MIDI-Implementation wie bei einer MPC. Kann ja noch kommen! Kiste wird für mich wieder interessanter. :-)

Frage zu MIDI an die Besitzer:
Ich habe das Isla Forum noch mal durchgelesen in Sachen MIDI Sequenzer.

Stimmt das so mit dem aktuellen OS:
1. Man kann derzeit kein Pitchbend oder Aftertouch aufnehmen?
2. CC geht aber?
3. Möchte man klassisch ein Keyboard durch die S2400 als Schaltzentrale routen, um ein anderes zu spielen, kann ich nur durch MIDI DIN THRU routen, wenn ich PB und AT ans 2. Keyboard schicken möchte?

Wenn 1 nicht geht, dann müsste eine MPC mein Master bleiben.
