Korg ES1 Speicherkarte formatieren

Ich habe seit 4 Wochen eine ES1, die ich mit einem SM to XD Card Adapter benutze.
Von den zwei identischen Olypus 64mb XD karten, die ich habe funktioniert eine ader
nur sporadisch und wird von der ES1 oft nicht erkannt. Am PC sind beide top.

Ich habe irgendwo gelesen, das man die Karten am Besten mit der Electribe formatieren sollte
um die höchst mögliche Kompatibilität zu geniessen.

Meine Frage nun ist, wie starte ich die Formatierungsroutine auf der ES1 ?

Here's how to format Smart Media for use on the ES-1.
1. Insert the SmartMedia card into the SmartMedia slot.
2. Hold down the Shift key, and press step key 15 (Card). (Key 15 will blink.)
3. The display will indicate “Lod.” Rotate the dial toward the right to select “For,” and press key 15.
4. The display will indicate “no.” Turn the dial to the left to select “yES,” and press key 15 to execute the formatting op- eration. While formatting is being performed, the progress will be shown by the 3 4
step keys.
When formatting is complete, or if you select “no” and press key 15, the display will return to the previous state.
To cancel, press the Stop/Cancel key.
The entire contents of the SmartMedia will be lost when you format it.
In some cases, SmartMedia that was formatted on a de- vice other than the ES-1 will not be recognized correctly. If so, please re-format it on the ES-1.

Wenn ich Deine Anleitung befolge, dann habe ich aber leider nur die Optionen LOD oder SAV.
FOR kommt da nicht vor.

Manchmal haben diese 64mb Karten ein kleiner schreibschutz schalter. Hast du den eingeschaltet?

Im Handbuch steht das gleiche, was ihav2p schon geschrieben hat.

Ausserdem die Erklärung, das die Formatierung nur ausfuehrbar ist, wenn die
Karte nicht schon formatiert ist. Kann also nicht erzwungen werden.
Muss ich also vorher "deformatieren", mal schauen wie ich das mache.
