patch & tweak / patch & tweak with moog / push turn move und nun synth gems 1 - cool... ..auch wenn man vieles kennt, die bücher sind es wert gesammelt zu werden. schöne sonntagslektüre immer.

Ist schon etwas anders. Der Autor ist neu, auch wenn ihn manch einer schon von rec.music.synth oder emusic-l kennen mag. Und es ist ein Buch im Stile von SVG oder Vintage Synths. Gespannt bin ich vor allem auf Info zum Lord Skywave.

Gespannt bin ich vor allem auf Info zum Lord Skywave.

Der einzige Synth bei dem man schon am Panel links der Tastatur scheitert. Der Klang des Exemplars im Synthorama in Luterbach/CH habe ich als etwas sehr rotzig in Erinnerung.

Das Buch kommt auf die Wunschliste!

Mike Metlay kenne ich schon seit ungefähr 1990 durch die Dreams Word Abteilung von Elana Mell Beach (Portland OR) und dem daraus erwachsenen GoldTri EM Forum, das es irgendwann Ende der 1990er Jahre mal gab, zwei Compilation-CDs veröffentlichte, dann noch eine Weile als beyond_EM-Mailinglist vor sich hin krebste und dann irgendwann im Orkus verschwand.

Aus den dort getätigten Äußerungen seitens des Team Metlay war und bin ich mir nicht immer sicher über die Zurechnungsfähigkeit und die Seriösität des Schreibenden (Casio VL Tone...? Synth Gem...? Wasser auf meine Mühlen...), aber ich sollte mein Urteil erst fällen, wenn ich das Buch gelesen habe.

Sehr gut gelungenes Buch, toll fotografiert von Minimoog bis Andromeda A6 und im Appendix das SMEM, Synthorama, EMEAPP vorgestellt.

Spitze und vielen Dank, gut investierte Kohle hahahaaa...
