I have been digging around the last few weeks, looking for more CEM3340 VCO ICs.
I managed to find and test 2 more sets of ICs: some for MemoryMoog and some for any synth BUT a MemoryMoog (the MemoryMoog uses non-standard power supply voltages and there is 1 certain data code, 8226, that has an issue with the supply in the MemoryMoog).
I have a custom-built tester, and every CEM3340 is checked for operation at +-12V.
I have put these into the shopping cart at www.synthtech.com (click ORDER, then the CEM/SSM IC link in the upper left corner).
All CEM ICs are getting near impossible to obtain on the 'open market', except CEM3396s which there are a lot because Cheetah MS6 guy overbought big time :) I finally sold all of my ICs that I bought from Ensoniq when they were acquired by Creative Labs (where a lot of these came from) and sadly, the only place left to get them is to harvest dead synths.
