SonicBirth, the Mac OS X Audio Unit / VST designing application that allows users to build their own Audio Unit / VST plugins, either by working with existing circuits or by creating circuits completely from scratch, has been updated to version v1.2.0 and released as freeware and open-source (GPL) (available on SourceForge). New controller concepts are always a good idea since performing electronic music sometimes looks a bit boring, Percussa Audio Cubes (posted already earlier) are now ready to buy. There are 2 videos demoing the Cubes with Ableton live and Elektron Machinedrum, which looks quite interesting.. The Cubes respond to how they are arranged on a table or even touching it (the elektron video!).. so they are a bit of a dBeam plus Mute Controllers and look better than a Standard Controller.. It’s based on a MAX runtime and uses USB…
