Dove Audio – WTF Oscillator 5U / Eurorack Module ++ Hartmann Tempest Synth

Nach dem Skulpt von P.Maddox‘ „alter“ Company nun hier schon die erste Kickstarter-Kampagne für einen Eurorack bzw. MOTM (5HE-Moog)-Oszillator mit dem super schönen Namen WTF. Window Transform Function – dabei werden die Wellen nicht verzerrt oder gemorpht sondern – naja, eben verschoben oder transformiert.
2 Wellenformen werden synchron gestartet (zB Sägezahn, Rechteck) und ein „Fenster“ um die andere Welle dort „einzufügen“, was auch in doppelter Form geht, übrigens auch mit Noise –  was dann so aussieht:

Paula Maddox has just startet a Kickstarter project, with a nice name – the WTF oscillator for eurorack and moog-size (5H) as a module – it works like this with 2 sync’ed oscillators (means, they are in sync but not hard sync by each other) – now a window can be opened on that square/pulse wave to include some saw spots or twice of them in another window – creating different
overtones/harmonics – it also works with noise – listen to it below.

Interesting thing – the Hartmann Neuron Synths had a planned successor – Paula worked on – but was never released – the Neuron 2 or something like that – Hartmann Tempest

interessanter Nebenaspekt: Paula arbeitete offenbar mit Axel Hartmann zusammen – einer neuen „Version“ oder einem Nachfolger des Hartmann Neuron Synthesizers – man erkennt die Basiselemente aber auch neue andere… der Name wäre wohl Tempest gewesen…
