Leap Motion is back with a MIDI bridge, so they are aware of making music and using it as a controller. Also this is multitouch another way, not really „touching“ a screen but gestures in front of it – so maybe a gesture for some things may be possible… so yes – you can do your MIDI with it without coding your own translator software. but still you can point your finger to photoshop and play games.. -> GECO is the name of the MIDI app. Die Finger und Hand…

every finger is / has a mouse, maybe another „multi gesture“ device that may help to make all important functions e.g. in browser in/at one hand without touching the keyboard – and touch 5 controllers within 3d movement for all of them..? Introducing the Leap – oh, how I’d like one of these mouse multitouch replacement devices.. here you go, $70 only! (!) – thats 67€ over here but don’t forget the tax in germany & europe when you order one, but very very tempting to me. UPDATE: now supports MIDI unterdessen: NI bringt noch ein Klavier raus mit noch mehr und noch weiter und so… Nennt sich The Giant.
