Ich weiß dieses mal wirklich nichts ob was neues rauskommt, ehrlich...

Aber ich glaube, egal was raus kommt, es wird nichts neues sein. Die 3 großen verschlafen nach wie vor den Anschluß an dem Rechner also wird sich da nicht viel ändern... :D

Mal schauen. Wobei wegen der Musikmesse auch einige Firmen DIESE gern nutzen für neue Sachen. Aber durch den Finanzdruck ist das nicht mehr so leicht. Ein Synth. darf ja nicht viel mehr als 2k€ kosten, was natürlich das Leben schwerer macht - Für alle.

Ideen gäbe es noch genug, viele rel. kleinen Wünsche wären noch zu erfüllen, würden aber einiges bringen. Ansonsten schauenwermal, man weiss ja nie.
 
bei den vielen neuen modulherstellern wirds vielleicht das eine oder andere geben.

würde mich über nachrichten zu den angekündigten erweiterungen des livewire afg freuen. hab nämlich gerade langsames modulGAS....

vielleicht warten die auch auf die namm

linndrum II soll ja nicht auf der namm präsentiert werden. schade, würd gern wissen in welche richtung es da geht. ob die weiter so kompromissloß bleiben wie in den bisherigen produktstudien zu erkennen wor, oder ob sie kalte füsse kriegen. wär ja fast verständlich.



ob und wie die finanzkrise bei den musikalienherstellern einschlägt, obs eher die großen oder gerade die kleinen trifft? es wird sich historisch entwickeln.

bei korg wirds vielleicht den microkorg xl zu sehen geben.
 
Ich denke im modularen Bereich wird einiges interessantes kommen,
gerade von Plan B, Cwejman, Doepfer und Livewire gab es schon einige Ankündigungen / Prototypen zu neuen Modulen.

Dazu kommen noch die ganzen neuen Modulhersteller die in diesem Jahr dazugekommen, da wird sicher gut was geboten.

Die Namm in den USA soll lange nicht so groß sein wie die Musikmesse in Frankfurt aber reizen würde sie mich schon aber ich habe keine Kohle um über den großen Teich zu fliegen, da kauf ich mir lieber einen Synth 8) .

Die NAMM ist nur für Fachbesucher und kostet nicht unerheblich. Es waren etwas über $200 oder mehr mindestens.

Gerade für dich wäre der Besuch dort bestimmt eine sehr interessante und tolle Erfahrung. Ja, es ist kleiner als Musikmesse, aber irgendwie gemütlicher, besser ausgestattet und viel mehr Musiker anwesend. Es kommt insgesamt mehr Livemusik rüber, selbst im Court, wo es was zu essen gibt, spielen immer Livebands und zwar welche, wo einem der Hut wegfliegt so gut sind die. Auch an den Herstellerständen selber sind oft geniale Musiker aus der ersten Reihe, die spielen da auf den neuen Sachen. Wenn du jemanden aus der Branche kennst, der dort einen Stand hat, dann kannst du dir ein Staff-Ticket ausstellen lassen, wird dann vielleicht billiger.

Allerdings fliege ich auch nur dann zur NAMM, wenn ich hinterher noch 2 Wochen Kalifornienaufenthalt dranhängen kann, was leider dieses Jahr wegen viel zu viel Arbeit nicht klappt.

Wenn die dett mal hinkriegen würden, wäre ja nicht so rein großes Ding. Wie man korrekt FX einbindet und so müsste man auch nochmal bei anderen gucken ;-) Viel Vorsprung hätten sie nicht, dh - VSynth MC wäre natürlich sehr interessant, wenn man es RICHTIG macht. Randgruppenmaschine, aber sehr kultig.

Jazzmutant’s incredible Lemur and Dexter controllers have set the worlds of music and performance alight over the last couple of years, allowing users to interact with their music, sequencers, light and sound in complete freedom and in totally new ways. Both controllers offer superb multitouch-sensitive surfaces with the Dexter aimed at DAW users and the Lemur a more open-ended system allowing users to operate and manipulate a huge variety of sources.

A few weeks ago Jazzmutant announced the V2 software upgrade for the Lemur, and this will be available from this year’s NAMM show onwards. This new firmware update takes the Lemur to another level of control, flexibility and intuitive operation. V2 comes packed with new objects and features that allow users to really interact with sound and manipulate it in real time like never before. Those Lemur v2 features in detail

• Breakpoint object – Offers total control of synthesiser or sampler envelopes with a multi-segment envelope editor to allow you to really get inside a sound, live on stage! Rather than assigning knobs to these sound shapers, jump right in and directly tweak an on-screen representation of the envelope. This familiar, visual interface allows you to see – and hear – exactly how you are changing the sound and you can easily add extra breakpoints with a simple double touch.

• Gesture object – This emulates a trackpad control with advanced gesture recognition and has three novel ways to interact with your sound. You can send different control messages to your computer simply by pinching, rotating or tracing your fingers. An example could be with surround sound: rotate to change the source position, pinch to change the source level, and trace to apply some filter to it. Total control in three steps!

• Alias – Now you can easily produce a copy or alias of a controller object that sends exactly the same information to your computer. This takes up less memory and is much less time consuming than setting up a new object with identical characteristics. Manipulating the original or its doppelganger can now control the same computer parameters but from different interface screens. Moving one will automatically update its "mirror image".

• Tabbed Container – Containers are virtual panels that contain a selection of controls. Tabbed containers allow you to change the contents of this panel at the tap of a finger. Put all the controls you need for one part of your performance in one tab, then simply push the next tab to reveal a whole new bank with zero hassle. This feature allows you to greatly improve interface layouts.

• Mouse and keyboard control – Still finding yourself reaching over to the computer during your live show? Not any more! Now Lemur's objects can be used to remotely control the mouse cursor or computer keyboard.

• Workflow improvements – Setting up your custom performance interface is a breeze with the improved and new-look Jazzeditor. Workflow improvements include the ability to simply drag objects from the new palette into the work area – any custom-made modules from your library will also appear here. It's now no longer necessary to select a MIDI or OSC target for each parameter within an object – just choose a "parent" target and you're done. There’s also a new ‘colour chooser’ to make your interfaces visually distinctive.

• Extended scripting abilities – A new multi-line script pane opens up a whole new world of possibilities. You can now modify the physical behaviour, appearance or size of an object in real time. Add a ball to a Multiball object by touching a pad, or zoom in on a fader for ultimate precision. These scripts can act locally or be received from the computer. For Ableton users that means it is now possible to receive clip names and colours and display them on the Lemur. Any changes in your Live set are automatically reflected on the Lemur. Now you can really put that computer behind you and concentrate on your performance!
