AMD Athlon und MMX und SSE1

Einige Programme auf meinem alten PC verlangen den MMX und SSE1 support von der CPU, die alten AMD CPU#s hatten sowas wohl nie dabei, da es ja nicht mein Main Rechner ist und ich auch nicht unbedingt "updaten" will auf eine andere CPU hatte ich mal im Internet geschaut, da gab es irgendwo ein Tool womit man diesen Fehlenenden kram, den das Programm braucht, installieren, leider finde ich das nicht mehr, weiß jemand wo es "diesen Patch" gab?

Schau doch mal was CPU-Z fuer 'nen Prozessor Typ und SIMD-Erweiterungen anzeigt...

Äh, eine Softwareemulation für SSE? Wäre mir neu, dass es sowas gäbe.

keine Emulation, ich kriege das aber nicht mehr genau hin wie das war, der Software wird irgendwie nur vor gekaugelt das es SSE unterstützt...

Ich habe einen Link von den Image-Line Leuten bekommen als ich Sounds für die gemacht habe... Da lief ein VST Instrument nur auf Rechner mit SSE Support..

Das ist komisch, an sich sollten alle Athlon XP Modelle SEE faehig sein...
Schau mal nach ob's fuer dein Motherboard ein neues BIOS gibt, ansonsten ein Tool was die entsprechenden Register setzt. WCPUID soll das koennen...

To enable SSE, do one or both of the following:
-- Download and install the latest BIOS for the motherboard.
-- Download WCPUID, a freeware utility that displays information about your computer's CPU, from http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002374 ... nload.html and follow the on-screen instructions to install and run it. If WCPUID indicates that your processor supports SSE, choose Tweaks > AMD Athlon MP/4 SSE Control > SSE Enable to enable SSE.

Note: Using WCPUID to enable SSE requires you to reenable SSE each time you restart your computer.
