Coden auf dem iPad ist ähnlich sexy wie Textverarbeitung. Da hilft auch keine Bluetooth-Tastatur. Das Markieren von Text unter iOS ist sowas von Schwachfug.

Interessant, auf dieses "Problem" wäre ich gar nicht gekommen.
Aber da ist wahrscheinlich was dran.
Vielleicht gibt es einen Workaround (z.B. über ein Textdokument in der Dropbox, welches auch auf einem Rechner editierbar ist?) oder vielleicht "erkennt" Mozaic einzelne Wörter automatisch?
Zumindest scheint es mir so in dem oben verlinkten GIF, dass es sich so verhält.

Wie ist das Markieren auf anderen Touch-Devices gelöst oder gibt es prinzipiell bessere Markierungsmöglichkeiten, die noch auf keiner Plattform umgesetzt worden sind?
Frage ernsthaft, weil ich keine anderen Erfahrungen mit Touch-Screens habe als auf dem iPad / iPhone (also iOS).

Bei iOS geht das nur über Touchscreen-Gesten bzw. per Touchpad-Emulation (zwei Finger auf der Bildschirmtastatur gedrückt halten). Mit einer externen Tastatur kannst du Cursortasten-Shortcuts zum Markieren nutzen. Mal schnell irgendwo hinzuspringen und/oder markieren, geht nicht wirklich elegant. Wäre dieses Problem unter iOS mal sauber gelöst, würde ich das iPad als Notebook-Ersatz durchaus ernst nehmen.

Unter Android sind Mäuse erlaubt. Dort kannst du dann wie gewohnt per Maus markieren/navigieren.

Der Coder/Musiker "wim" hat hier einen provisorischen, zentralen Speicherort für Mozaic-Scripte angelegt: https://wiki.audiob.us/mozaic_plugin_engine
Sobald es einen offiziellen Speicherort bzw. Workflow gibt, werden die Scripts dorthin verschoben.

Peblin hat einen Sequencer entwickelt für Mozaic, den er Flow genannt hat.
Ist inspiriert vom OP-Z-Sequencer und dem Infinity.

Kann man die Scripte innerhalb der Anwendung downloaden? Oder wie kommen die da rein?
Spiele schon länger mit dem Gedanken, zu kaufen. Konnte mich aber noch nicht durchringen.

Ist jetzt nicht die große Nachricht , aber hab mir das Teil gestern spontan geholt, nachdem ich es im AppStore entdeckt hatte. Muss mich da aber mal an nem ruhigen Nachmittag ransetzen. Ein paar Ideen hätte ich schon, bin halt nur nicht mehr allzu fit in der Birne.

Texten ist wirklich schlecht aufm IPad, aber ab IPadOS13 soll wohl Mausunterstützung dazukommen. Hab mich mit dem Thema allerdings noch nicht befasst.
