Klingt so cool, wie ich es in Erinnerung habe. Sehr futuristisch, sehr tight.

Mit Phaedra hat das aber nun rein gar nichts zu tun... die Konnotation dürfte wohl eher daher gekommen sein, daß das Vokabular spätestens bei Rubycon aufhört...

Hallo Leute,
hier ist nun das PPG Vorführungsvideo vom Dino Treffen, das Stephen (ppg360) und ich zum Besten gaben. Ich hoffe, wir haben nicht zu viel Quatsch geredet :selfhammer: :lol:

Ich hoffe ich mach da nichts böses, wenn ich nochmal darauf hinweise, dass das ein 6809 Prozessor ist, kein 68000, der kam erst viel später und hat eine komplett andere Leistung und ist zudem 16bit. Zusatzinfo: Der 6809 ist auch im Xpander 3x und damals gab es übrigens auch ein Betriebssystem names OS 9, was aber nicht Mac OS 9 ist.

Trotzdem war das schön und ich hoffe, dass noch mehr Leute sich die Mühe machen so etwas zu machen! Daumen hoch!.

The Waveterm B has much more memory and a 16-bit A/D-converter, so it can record far more, faster, and in better quality than the A variant. To supply a range of up-to-date sounds to Waves of type 2.3 and EVUs, it was sold together with the PPG Sound Library. :phat:

Gemeint ist:
zwischen konkurs und liquidierung ist schon ein gewaltiger unterschied !
da sollte man schon aufpassen was man von sich gibt !
das steht ja auch alles im netzt. auch bei Wiki ist nicht die rede von bancrupcy...

Der B war schon mit dem Teil - da hab ich dann auch mal was gelernt, was ich dann damit auch als abgerundet betrachte. Dankeschön! Bin erstaunt, dass das noch kam, weil die Serie so 1985 verstärkt kam, zuerst im QL, Atari, erster Mac 1984 allerdings auch und so, muss also…
Wann kam der nochmal? Der B?

In 1984, the Wave 2.2's MIDIfied successor appears under the name Wave 2.3. While the Wave 2.2 offers 2 different sounds at a time, all voices of the Wave 2.3 can use different sounds for playing, a possibility that becomes especially rewarding in conjunction with the sequencing and sample processing in the PPG System. Additionally, with the Wave 2.3, the resolution is increased from 8 to 12 bit, the redesigned version of the Waveterm, the Waveterm B, now allows recording of 16-bit samples. Other components of the PPG System are the PPG Processor Keyboard PRK, a weighted keyboard that allows velocity-sensitive playing of the Wave sounds and, amongst other things, offers extended sequencer memory, and the eight-voice expander version of the Wave, the Expansion Voice Unit EVU.

Jeetje... der Vortrag war frei improvisiert. Das soll mir erst mal einer aus dem Stegreif nachmachen.

Wolfgang sollte sich lieber freuen, daß jemand aus Respekt vor seinem Lebenswerk und seinem Ingenieurgeist Geräte vor'm Elektroschrott rettet und am Leben erhält.

Finde ich.
