Korg iWavestation & Gadget Wavestation download!

Wer die WS kauft, bekommt sie für Gadget mit dazu. iWavestation is out now for $20 – it’s nice and easy to access and edit – better than the classic hardware (sorry, guys)
– the classic check: Korg WavestationAD, WavestationSR, WavestationEX wavesequence vector, digital

the editor looks like this – Der Editor für Hüllkurven sieht zB so aus:

editor-iwavestation

Korg APP Odyssey (iOS) “Odyssei” – Korg Gadget & Standalone

Korg Day 1.11. – Odyssey coming to the iPad & iPhone and into Korg Gadget App as extra purchase item.

UPDATE:
full scale Odyssey App at the Appstore 20€ – with ARP sequencer and Fx.
nice one!

got it here – it also features the 3 filters of the Korg Odyssey:
to me it sounds very good. but it’s not very cheap for an app. this is the iPad version: when bought you also have it in “gadget” so you don’t have to buy it twice! nice!
odyssei-app
t
he iPhone can do the same – splits up well on a 6s plus ..
if you buy it once you get both – like it! may be something to take on stage.

..what else is there? since this is the Korg day.. – the Korg Monologue!

here’s the way it looks on iPhone & iPad in Korgs Gadget App:korg-odyssey-in-gadget-app-ipad korg-odyssey-in-gadget-app-iphone

FM Synth App (Yamaha) – free 4 OP

Yamaha released a freeware for everyone – an easy to edit 4 OP FM Synth which is quite like theTX81z /DX11 – it offers 16 scenes that can be used as a sequencer of settings that can be morphed and the main use of this iPhone/iPad app is a great sounding 4OP FM synth with classic ADDSR envelopes and feedback for each OP! – I really enjoy the FX quality. what I don’t like – you can not save your patch unless you connect one of those keyboards of the MX series from Yamaha – they are not capable of FM but are meant to be used as “master keyboard” which looks a bit “strange” – why not in-app-buying the save functionality for 2 or 4€? .. would be ok.

  • Yamaha once in 2015 had this free available at the appstore  AN-Synth – which is still cool (called synth book).

Yamaha DX11 synthesizer

HISTORY / FM PROGRAMMERS
..plenty of things up on Yamahas site..
..I enjoyed the programmers they created for editing the first FM prototype – why there is none of those for sale or made it into the synths ? –  the GS1 .. so in fact they did programmers first that look like very useful:

my info about Yamahas Synths – and a detailed view on all the FM synth generations.
The GS1 is shown here (I did not add the GS series to the SynthDB yet, but will do!)

A users render about Yamahas future – do you think they do this kind of effort without bringing new synths somewhere sooner/later?

the DT programmer looks like this (DX7 reissue)
dtronics dt7 dx7 programmer

Korg M1 App iM1

Korg releases M1 as an iOS App with similar features to the original M1 Digital Synthesizer classic “rompler” synth (from the “legacy” collection).
for it’s 20€ it adds filter resonance, the T-Series ROM content, Kaoss-Pad kind of control / 18x FX types.
and something called VCA Modulation

can be controlled from Korg “Gadget” Sequencer on the same iPad (was updated today as well).
