ANS Synthesizer Optische Synthese / Metasynth Hardware 1937 gfx to sound
Der russische ANS Synthesizer bringt eine Art optische Synthese.Ähnlich wie Metasynth schaut er sich Bilder an und baut daraus Klänge – das ist ein sehr ausladendes Gerät –
20 Photozellen schauen sich das Bild an, offenbar wie bei einem (Flachbett)Scanner. Die Methode ist somit ein wenig „Vintage“. Und ja, das ist auch nicht neu sondern aus dem Jahre 1937 – dafür ist es revolutionär.
