Moog IIIp Modular – is back

Moog bringt den IIIp wieder ins Programm. Sie haben bereits das spätere System 55, das IIIc im Holzgehäuse, das Sequencer-Abteil und die Modelle 35 und das kleine 15 sowie das Keyboard dazu. Das IIIp ist in 3 Cabinets eingebaut mit dem Matrix Mixer und die größere Festfilterbank.

37 Module, sind es mit mit zehn 901 Oszillatoren, 905 Spring Reverb und 984 Matrix Mixer.
einige der VCOs müssen natürlich als LFOs arbeiten, denn bekanntlich gab es bei Moog keine expliziten LFOs. Der Preis soll $35k betragen, ggf. 25 Stück – aber mal schauen, bei dem Preis wird das keine wirkliches „Limit“ sein. Das mag das Gegenteil von dem sein, was Behringer macht, „Sachen günstig anbieten“.. Diskussion im Forum ist eher kritisch.

Moog seems to bring back the Vinyl-Cabinet IIIp and its 10 oscillators of type 901 (the early one).the later ones are still sold in their wooden cabinet the system 35 and 55 – also the 15 is already been sold – they are all not cheap, there are others that offer them for a lot less, but they have it.. along the the sequencer compartment and the IIIc which is the earlier one as well as the IIIp but in a wooden cab as well. 37 modules in total incl. reverb tank and full filter inclusive coupler and hpf, the „bigger“ fixed filter bank, 3 VCAs.. – note there are no LFOs so these VCOs are not just for sound generation but also for modulation. Price Tag ist $35k, they say – 25 pcs – but well…
