Quasimidi Sirius a very interesting concept in controling it contra a questionable sound? ..
QM is no longer existing today but one thing on the pro side was: they had real innovative concepts in controlling a synthesizer and integrating a sequencer, later waldorf and korg followed, roland also.. still you can check the sequencer of the polymorph as a reeal live tool , much more like a simple add on “toy”..
on the other hand of QM products is the sound, unfortunately they all sound a bit .. §$%&..
so for me they left a mixed kind of smell after death..
the cyber 6 (master keyboard) and raven (with sound) had a stp sequencer and “motivator” on board which had step and chase light concepts ..
the polymorph with sequencer and HPF and LPF with dedicated envelope
the sirius, a simple synth with vocoder
technox, quasar: preset synths for beginners, almost rom based lofi synth with offset programming (meens to set a value from a preset but not be able to reach all possible values..)+ klaus schulze said in german – analog zum quasar fällt mir nichts ein (in the sense of “i have no idea about other synths analoguely to the quasar).. well.. I haven’t any ida on this, too ;)
