Hi the problem thet you have is some like the SPDIF dont work ,i have the same Yamaha RS but i record all my samples on my computer becose is more flexible and after then reimport the wave files in the Yamaha RS whit the smart media.I realy dont use the SPDIF but the problem is strange.

jedes encoder must seine numer haben aber sie musen sie nicht widerholen,oder sind die Midi und USB einstelungen.Download das letzte USB driver fon den Web,bei mir funkzionirt alles gut.Wen es nich mit Learnfunkzionirt mache in Manual mode schreibe alein das midi CC in deine software.

roland the thing that i want to do is to record external devices in the Roland and i will use the Analog Input but is really the same thing if the machine have 20 or 24 A/D D/A converters?because i think not or maybe am i wrong?
