Just to chime in to be clear.
BEMI has indeed ENDED its relationship with Alex 4 and Schneidersladen.
BEMI has made the decision to improve its channel supply for Europe for both sales and support.
We have been shipping Easels constantly since the last quarter of 2014 and are supplying NEW orders WORLDWIDE. In the last 3 weeks alone over 30 Easels have been shipped.
There are many comments and assumptions made without any real facts or knowledge, and we accept all criticism that comes our way. That is everyones right. We will continue to improve and streamline our supply and develop new products, some of which you will see at NAMM with very quick availability.
There are certainly not large backorders still pending at all, and BEMI was able to ship a large number of Easels to our previous European distributor, however WE made the decision for a less complicated alternative. There are already individual dealers within Europe that have really supported BEMI and have been supplying customers. We will continue to supply them amongst many others.
There are always two sides to a story, and everyone is free to make an assumption.
We will continue to move forward with Buchla and motivated to bring amazing instruments to the world no matter what.
We all have important things to do each day, and this is not a post to start a large thread about the validity of BEMI and the people behind it etc...although I must admit if I read one more post stating BEMI is full of corporate suits ruining a historical brand I will probably be sick. It is so far from the truth its laughable.
Everyone that knows the people involved know the truth. We are just trying to keep a beautiful legacy alive well in to the future and build on history.
Last I checked we have shipped at least 60 times the amount of Easels that were originally made all those years ago..and almost all who have purchased have expressed how wonderful the Easel is and how it makes them feel. Yes, there can be issues with units, and BEMI do everything possible to make it right. So BEMI can not be all bad..
Anyway, back to finalising new products for NAMM and building Easels and systems for orders placed, planning for improvement in all areas to make you a happier lot. That is one thing that does not change each and every day.
